Cosmo Metals is focused on the advancement of its flagship Mt Venn, Winchester and Eastern Mafic projects in the underexplored Yamarna Belt, in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. Cosmo also has two tenements at Pingrup in the South-West Terrane.
Cosmo’s Projects are considered highly prospective for copper-nickel-cobalt (Cu-Ni-Co) and platinum group elements (PGE) and Cosmo’s well regarded technical team is advancing exploration on multiple fronts to unlock the potential of the region.
The Yamarna Belt Projects are located approximately 130km east of Laverton in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia and are easily accessible via the Great Central Road from Laverton, with local gravel tracks heading north to Winchester and access roads providing direct access to Yamarna. Yamarna is also immediately west of the 6.7Moz Gruyere gold mine.
Cosmo's exploration to date in the Yamarna Belt has defined three deposits including the more advanced Mt Venn deposit and the Eastern Mafic deposit located within the Yamarna Exploration Area (Cosmo 100%) and the Winchester deposit located in the Winchester Exploration Area (Cosmo 75%, Ausgold 25%) north of Yamarna.
Cosmo also has two other tenements at Pingrup in the southern Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. The Pingrup Project overlie farmland south of Lake Grace and is considered to be prospective for copper-nickel-PGE mineralisation.
