Cosmo Metals has acquired an option to acquire the Bingara and Nundle Projects in the New England Orogen of NSW. Covering an area of ~743km2, these projects have seen very little modern exploration despite featuring a history of high-grade historical gold, antimony and copper production from mining which occurred on-and-off for nearly a century commencing in the 1840’s. Cosmo aims to apply modern geoscience to unlock value in these projects which are highly prospective for VMS, orogenic and intrusion related gold, antimony and copper mineralisation.
